Chart Delineation: Kamala Harris Step #4
Initial House Delineation
Many astrologers, the good ones anyway, usually make an initial assessment of the chart then go back over it two or three or maybe even four times to refine their initial delineation. That’s a good practice. It keeps you from overlooking things in the chart that might be very important. Also, no one expects you to get it right the first time over.
Before we begin, you cannot use Modern astrology house meanings because they are perverted.
According to Allen Leo, the 12th House is the “occult, clairvoyance, psychic thoughts people inherit from their past lives that causes sorrow or happiness, mystery, anything sacred or secret connected with the mind, the toes and feet, the house of self-undoing.”
Um, no. That’s what happens when you spend too much time in opium dens smoking opium. Modern astrologers are just psycho whack-jobs pure and simple.
The only thing he mentions that is even remotely relevant is “the house of self-undoing.” The Greeks phrased it as “the path that leads you astray” and we think “self-undoing” fits that sense.
You cannot use the house meanings from Arabic, Persian, Latin, Medieval, Renaissance or Classical astrologers, either. Those are all corrupted and in the case of the Renaissance and Classical astrologers, corrupted and perverted.
If you’re wondering how the Arab and Persian astrologers corrupted the house meanings, mundane astrology comes first. Natal astrology later evolves out of mundane astrology. Mundane and natal comprise one branch of astrology.
Shortly after natal astrology evolves, a separate branch of astrology arises with “questions” which evolves into elections. Elections has nothing to do with political elections. It’s about choosing the most opportune time to do something (or not). Much later, horary astrology evolves out of “questions.”
Why? Stop with the anachronisms already. Just stop it. They didn’t have birth certificates back then. 95% of the people don’t know their birth-times. 90% of those weren’t even sure what day they were born. They might know it was “Thor’s Day” but they didn’t know which “Thor’s Day” in the month they were born. Along comes horary astrology.
Horary allows people who don’t have birth times to gain insight on their lives and guide them.
For that reason, if you have a valid birth time you cannot use horary. Why? An horary chart can never and will never contradict your natal chart or any predictive charts arising from your natal chart.
Why do you think the fraud John Frawley’s magical sports betting nonsense doesn’t work? Well, aside from the fact that it’s junk astrology based on very bad astrology masquerading as astrology, you can’t use it. Unless your natal chart says your career is professional gambler or that you will from time-to-time gain financial windfalls the best case scenario is you break-even and the worst case scenario is you lose your shirt. In case you hadn’t noticed, Las Vegas odds-makers are still in business.
There’s another issue and that is you are a 3rd Party and as such you have no astrological need to know nor a right to know the outcome of any sporting event beforehand.
Why do you think horary doesn’t work for political elections? It’s because as a 3rd Party to the event you have neither a need to know nor a right to know who wins.
Those are the rules. If you don’t like it then take it up with the Universe or god or the gods or the little hamsters that run the Universe.
Horary charts like electional charts and other related charts are cast “in the moment.” It doesn’t take a big brain to figure out you’re gonna need special rules and special techniques to interpret those charts.
Likewise it doesn’t take a big brain to figure out you cannot use concepts, techniques and methods from mundane/natal astrology for horary and electional charts. The concept in mundane/natal is “under Sun’s beams.” The parallel concept in horary is “combust.” There is no such thing as a “combust” planet in mundane or natal astrology.
You don’t cast a solar return from an horary chart. Oh, wait….what are we saying? There’s probably some psychopathic narcissistic attention whore out there right now doing that exactly that and suckering people into drinking their Kool-Aid®.
The Arabs and Persians conflated horary charts with natal charts and started substituting horary house meanings with natal house meanings. The Arabs and Persians moved:
- The mother from the 1st House to the 10th House
- Real estate from the 2nd House to the 4th House
- Assets and investments from the 2nd House to the 5th House
- Business partners from the 2nd House to the 7th House
- Hidden enemies from the 6th House to the 12th House
- Lawsuits and legal matters from the 8th House to the 7th House
- Government and authority from the 9th House to the 10th House
- The spouse from the 10th House to the 7th House
- Enemies from the 12th House to the 7th House
That’s just a few of their glaring errors and then people wonder why everyone struggles to interpret charts accurately.
The 7th House is lawsuits only when casting an horary or election chart. In a natal chart the 8th House is lawsuits and legal matters. It always was just like it is in Jyotisha.
Using the wrong house meanings is one of many reasons people failed to correctly predict the 2024 U.S. presidential election. If you followed the rules of astrology, and used the original uncorrupted house meanings, the winner and loser were so blatantly obvious it wasn’t even funny. Even a novice astrologer with less than 3 months experience could have gotten it right.
We’ll put up an article showing just how easy it really was and we only used 3 charts to do it.
So make sure you’re using the original house meanings. Yes, there’s an astrological reason why they mean what they do.

Domicile ruler and master of House X in House Y
When the domicile ruler and master are not the same star, then:
Domicile ruler of House X in House Y and domicile master of House X in House Z
If you’re reading Rhetorius, take what he says with a grain of salt. Rhetorius wasn’t the sharpest tool in the shed and he gets easily confused and not all of his delineations are even remotely accurate. We aren’t even sure Rhetorius was an astrologer. He was a compiler for sure. Unlike Ptotle who plagiarized the works of others, Rhetorius named his sources and we are grateful for that.

Learn to differentiate between direct and indirect cause. The easiest way to explain that is domicile ruler of the 1st House in the 8th House that person is directly the cause of their own death. Domicile ruler of the 8th House in the 1st House, that person is indirectly the cause of their own death.
Gemini 1st House: Mercury is domicile ruler and Venus domicile master
Mercury: Domicile ruler of the 1st House in the 6th House.
The 1st House is life. The 6th House is disease, illness, injury, accidents, hidden enemies, random chance bad luck and service. We can rule out beasts of burden although employees might be a possibility.
You might be tempted to think Kamala Harris is directly the cause of the diseases, illnesses, injuries, accidents and random chance bad luck that might affect her but we can rule that out since the star in question is Mercury. That leaves us with hidden enemies and service.
What does Scorpio mean? Bueller? Beuller? Anyone? Scorpio is a servile sign.
Wasn’t Kamala Harris a government employee, then a state appointee, then elected as county prosecutor, elected as state attorney general, elected as a U.S. Senator and elected as a vice-president?
Do you not see a pattern of public service there? We highlighted the operand “service.”
We’re shocked we tell you. We’re totally floored. Who would have thought Kamala Harris would have been in the service of others?
Being in service to others is what Kamala Harris does. It’s her first best destiny.
Venus: Domicile master of the 1st House in the 4th House.
That indicates issues surrounding one’s support base, like family and parents. Remember the 1st House is also the mother. Kamala’s parents divorced so Kamala was heavily influenced by her mother. Any parent, well, any real parent wants the best things for their children and often parents mean well but their approach is lacking and they can sometimes be overbearing or too demanding and that isn’t always a good thing.
Recall from Steps #1 & #2 we determined Mercury and Venus were afflicted. That creates difficulties in public service and at home.
One thing that afflicted stars often do depending on the house is function as a barrier or limitation like a glass-ceiling. Afflicted Mercury is the domicile ruler of her Gemini Ascendant and afflicted Venus is the domicile master of her Gemini Ascendant.
What that tells you is she won’t achieve the greatest things in her life. In other words, Kamala Harris is not allowed to be president of the United States. Why doesn’t the Universe want her as president? We don’t know. You’ll have to ask the Universe or god or the gods or the dog and pony show that runs the Universe.
That’s 6 out of 7 clues a novice astrologer would have seen saying she’ll lose the 2024 Election and yet people predicted she would win so how dumb are they?
Cancer 2nd House: Moon is domicile ruler and master
Moon: Domicile ruler and master of the 2nd House in the 11th House.
That tells you how Kamala profits.
The 11th House is friends? No, that….you know what? We need a cute catchy acronym. The CRAMP astrologers. That’s Classical, Renaissance, Arabic, Modern and Persian astrologers. CRAMP.
Yeah. CRAMP. We’re good with that because that’s what they do: Cramp your ability to learn astrology.
The 11th House is not friends. That’s stupid CRAMP astrology. The 11th House is patronage, alliances, associations and entities. That’s how Kamala profits meaning how she makes money. She’s a member of associations like the California Bar Association and probably the American Bar Association and they help her with her career which helps her make money. She’s a member of the Democratic Party and other entities. She forms alliances with people who get her appointed to State boards and she relies on patronage for support (tax-payer money).
Remember Moon’s condition is neutral. She ain’t rich. Compared to the wealth other American politicians possess she’s pretty poor actually. But then isn’t Mercury domicile ruler of the 1st House in the Scorpio 6th House? She’s not in it for the money and we’ll prove that when we take a gander at the figures and configurations in her chart.
Leo 3rd House: Sun is domicile ruler and master
Sun: Domicile ruler and master of the 3rd House in the 5th House.
The 3rd House is siblings, relatives, family friends and travel away from home or being away from home.
We judged Sun’s condition to be good. Her relationships with her siblings, relatives, friends of the family she grew up knowing and her travels are positive and beneficial. Every day of her life? No, don’t be obtuse. There’s no place in astrology for obtuse people. Overall they are positive and beneficial and bring her enjoyment.
Virgo 4th House: Mercury is domicile ruler and master
Mercury: Domicile ruler and master of the 4th House in the 6th House.
We’ll come back to that we when visit the 8th House.
Libra 5th House: Venus is domicile ruler but Saturn is domicile master
Venus: Domicile ruler of the 5th House in the 4th House.
Virgo is a barren sign and typically indicates no children or difficulty conceiving and that is exaggerated by Venus being afflicted. However, ruler of the 5th in the 4th is also an indicator of adoption or step-children.
Note that Harris has no natural born children but does have 2 children thru her marriage.
Saturn: Domicile master of the 5th House in the 9th House
The 5th House is also random chance good luck and Saturn tells us where she finds it. The 9th House is government, authority, wisdom and learning, fellowship with respect to all four of those, and travel away from home or being away from home. With Saturn in good condition this works out well for her. She gains something thru her travels and random chance encounters with people in government, professors and her fellow students at law school opened doors for her or put her in contact with others who could help her career.
Scorpio 6th House: Mars is domicile ruler and master
Mars: Domicile ruler and master of the 6th House in the 3rd House
This indicates diseases, illnesses, accidents and injuries that affect her siblings or to another relative to whom she is closely attached.
Sagittarius 7th House: Jupiter is domicile ruler. Sun is domicile master.
Jupiter: Domicile ruler of the 7th House in the 12th House.
The 7th House is death, marriage, sexual union, friends, and voluntary relocation or extended stays in alien places.
Are we using an horary chart? No. Are we using the 8-House System? No. So the 7th House is not the spouse. The 10th House is the spouse.
Only the domicile ruler of the 7th House can be in the 8th House or the 12th House and typically both indicate the marriage ends in death. The question is whose death? Domicile ruler of the 7th House in the 8th House is usually your death. Domicile ruler of the 7th House in the 12th House might also be your death since the 12th House is all about loss. You will lose something guaranteed. It’s only a question of what you lose.
But now you can see the problem because Jupiter as domicile ruler and master of the 10th House is in the 12th House and Jupiter also signifies her spouse who is what? A lawyer. Gosh, we are shocked. Just shocked. Jupiter is retrograde so there’s a possibility of divorce or separation. As a beginner, and even as an experienced astrologer you wouldn’t fuss over it. This is just your initial house delineation so you’d make note of it and come back later to ferret out the details.
Sun: Domicile master of the 7th House in the 5th House
Earlier we said Venus as domicile ruler of the 5th House in the 4th House in Virgo which is a barren sign indicates no children or difficulty having children. Sun in the 5th House also indicates no children or that children cause you nothing but grief. But Sun as domicile master of the 7th House indicates children come from the marriage meaning adoption or step-children. Harris has no children of her own but she does have two step-children.
The Sun in good condition as domicile master of the 7th House indicates the marriage is good. That might help narrow down your choices for how the marriage ends.
Capricorn 8th House: Saturn is domicile ruler. Venus is domicile master
Saturn: Domicile ruler of the 8th House in the 9th House.
People die traveling away from home or being away from home. In astrology “home” is your birth-place even if you relocate elsewhere. The 9th House is not “foreign travel.” There’s no such thing as “foreign travel” in astrology as it relates to the 3rd, 9th or 12th Houses. The proper phrasing is “travel away from home” or “being away from home.” We’ve proven that repeatedly.
Some of the charts we’ve shown with the domicile ruler of the 8th House in the 9th House were U.S. citizens flying on different U.S. passenger planes from one U.S. city to another U.S. city when the plane crashed. In the case of Buddy Holly, his plane never left the State of Iowa.
Still think that’s “foreign travel?” Going from Clear Lake, Iowa to a cornfield in Iowa?
We also presented charts of people with the domicile ruler of the 8th House in the 9th House who died of natural causes or of illness. Did they die in their birth-place? No. One died several 100 miles from their birth-place and the other died more than 3,000 miles from their birth-place but both died in the country where they were born. And, sorry, we don’t use the unscientific unnatural metric system. This is astrology which is predicated on the Base 60 number system so the use of the so-called “Imperial System” is spot on and meshes perfectly.
If someone comes to you with the domicile ruler of the 8th House in the 9th House and asks what it means, what are you going to tell them? “You’re gonna die in a foreign country.” Congratulations, you just lied to them. Why would you want to lie to people? That’s evil. It puts you on a par with evil Modern astrologers. The correct response is, “You will die in a place other than your birth-place” or “You will die away from home.“
Those answers are 100% accurate and the whole point of astrology is to be accurate.
Many people relocate 50, 100, 500, or a 1,000 miles away from home and maybe a few of them even relocate to a foreign country, they die there, and yet they don’t have the domicile ruler of the 8th House in the 9th House. Why don’t they?
There’s a perfectly valid astrological reason for that. What is astrology? C’mon, people. You should know that by heart.
Astrology is a rules-based scientific study of Fate.
If it’s in their chart then it is connected to their fate in some way, shape or form. Do not automatically assume that just because someone relocates it has to do with their fate.
The danger in using the wrong terminology is obvious if you reach a level to do predictive work. If you blatantly insist on seeing the 9th House as “foreign travel” only then when the 8th and 9th Houses are activated you won’t see that person is going to die (or be seriously injured) while traveling away from home or while being away from home and you failed them.
Mercury: Domicile ruler and master of the 4th House in the 6th House.
This is another indicator that someone dies in a place that is not their birth-place. Kamala Harris was born in Oakland, California. She might die in Sacramento, California, or New York City, or the District of Columbia or maybe she might actually be in a foreign country and all of those are “being away from home.” It also hints at burial honors.
Venus: Domicile master of the 8th House in the 4th House.
This often indicates the death of a parent. People die. That’s what they do and it’s one of the few things that people are good at doing. This can indicate one (or both) parents die prematurely, and it isn’t unusual for people to be more deeply affected by the death of one parent than they are by the death of the other parent. It may also indicate an inheritance. Since Venus is afflicted there will be issues here.
Kamala’s mother died in 2009 at age 71 but her father is still alive.
Aquarius 9th House: Saturn is domicile ruler and master
Saturn: Domicile ruler and master of the 9th House in the 9th House.
We judged Saturn’s condition to be good. Saturn is domiciled in his own house and more than that in his own bounds so he answers to no one. Kamala has a very strong sense of loyalty and duty. You’ll notice Saturn is conjunct the MC Point (within 6° for chart points) which links 9th House matters with the 10th House. Since the 9th House is government and authority it is linked very closely to her career. After all, she is a politician. We would not be surprised if she attained a professorship and taught at university since the 9th House is also wisdom and learning.
Saturn’s good condition bodes well for all things-9th House which includes benefiting from her travels anywhere.
Saturn’s only flaw is being retrograde. Retrograde is not something that affects you on a daily, weekly, monthly or yearly basis. It only comes into play when Saturn or Aquarius and the aspects Saturn makes are activated.
It portends a future serious problem with her career.
Pisces 10th House: Jupiter is domicile ruler and master
Jupiter: Domicile ruler and master of the 10th House in the 12th House.
In a single word the 12th House can be dumbed-down to “loss.”
You are going to lose something guaranteed. The only question is what will you lose?
This tells you that at some future time, Kamala will cause the ruination of her career, reputation or social standing and potentially the death of her spouse. That Jupiter is afflicted by the malefic rays of Mars and Saturn (enclosed) heightens the issue.
As we said earlier, for some houses the afflicted ruler functions as a barrier or places limitations creating a sort of “glass-ceiling.”
Your interpretation is she will never reach the pinnacle of her career.
For a novice astrologer, this is the 6th clue out of 7 clues telling you that Kamala Harris will never be president of the United States.
Aries 11th House: Mars domicile ruler and master
Mars: Domicile ruler and master of the 11th House in the 3rd House.
Moon and Mars both indicate movement or travel. Here we see Mars in a house of travel in opposition to a house of travel with Mars ruling the 11th House. Much of her travel is related to her affiliations with associations and entities. We determined Mars to be neutral in condition and most of the time it works out for her.
Taurus 12th House: Venus is domicile ruler and master
Venus: Domicile ruler and master of the 12th House in the 4th House.
This indicates a difficult home life even more so with Venus afflicted. Her parents moved around. A lot. All over the United States. Her parents divorced when she was 7 or 8 years old. She and her sister lived with each parent on an alternating schedule. Her mother eventually moved her and her sister to Montreal (Canada) which actually is in a foreign country and she did her high school years there plus attended college before coming back to the United States.
This is just a beginner level chart delineation that any novice should be able to do.
