Chart Delineation: Donald Trump Step #4
Initial House Delineation
Many astrologers, the good ones anyway, usually make an initial assessment of the chart then go back over it two or three or maybe even four times to refine their initial delineation. That’s a good practice. It keeps you from overlooking things in the chart that might be very important. Also, no one expects you to get it right the first time over.
Before we begin, you cannot use Modern astrology house meanings because they are both corrupted and perverted.
The moronic mental midget Modern astrologers March & McEvers tell us:
The 2nd House concerns finances, possessions excluding real estate, investments, earning ability, inner talent, need for fulfillment, emotions, one’s sense of self-worth, personal values and personal liberties, debts and the natural sign and ruler are Taurus and Venus.
So very wrong. The 2nd House is real estate. Are we looking at an horary chart? Nope. That means the 2nd House is real estate. If we were doing an horary chart —we’re are not, but if we were— then the 4th House would be real estate. The 2nd House has nothing to do with your inner talents or needs for fulfillment or your sense of self-worth. If you don’t know what your sense of self-worth is, a psychologist or someone with an MA in Social Work with the counseling certification can help you figure that out because astrology cannot tell you that.
Debts are 8th House, not 2nd House. There’s no such thing as a “natural sign” nor a “natural ruler.” That comes from Ptolemy pthe Pturd. Ptotle was many things: a liar, a cheat, a fraud, someone who fabricated his data, someone who fabricated other people’s data (thinking he wouldn’t get caught) and a plagiarizer but he was never an astrologer.
Ptolemy is the un-astrologer.
If there is such a thing as a “flat wheel” then it has Cancer-rising, not Aries-rising and the real astrologers know that while the pretend astrologers don’t.
In natal astrology, we use the original house meanings. We do not substitute natal house meanings with horary house meanings because, well, we’re doing natal astrology, not horary astrology. You need to be keenly familiar with these concepts:
Donald Trump
House delineation is easy-peasy-lemon-squeezy.
- Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius will have either:
- a domicile ruler who is also the domicile master; or
- a domicile ruler and a domicile lord
- Aries, Taurus, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn, and Pisces will have:
- a domicile ruler and a domicile master; or
- a domicile ruler and a domicile lord
The basic principle is this:
- For Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Scorpio, Sagittarius, and Aquarius:
- Domicile ruler and master of House X in House Y
- or
- Domicile ruler of House X in House Y; and
- Domicile lord of House X in House Z
- For Aries, Taurus, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn, and Pisces will have:
- This case:
- Domicile ruler of House X in House Y; and
- Domicile master of House X in House Z
- or this case:
- Domicile ruler of House X in House Y; and
- Domicile lord of House X in House Z
- This case:
Learn to differentiate between direct and indirect cause. The easiest way to explain that is domicile ruler of the 1st House in the 8th House that person is directly the cause of their own death. Domicile ruler of the 8th House in the 1st House, that person is indirectly the cause of their own death.
Always bear in mind these 2 principles:
- Domicile rulers indicate what happens
- Domicile masters and domicile lords dictate what happens
Astrology is the original WYSIWYG (“What You See Is What You Get”) so if you have issues with Determinism, they got pills for that. Get some because what you see in the chart is what happens for better or worse whether you like it or not and you can’t do anything about it.
Leo 1st House: Sun is domicile ruler and domicile master
Sun: Domicile ruler and master of the 1st House in the 11th House.
If you didn’t read the beginner’s level delineation for Kamala Harris we’ll briefly cover it. Kamala Harris has Mercury, the domicile ruler of the 1st House (life), in the 6th House which is disease, illness, injury, accidents, hidden enemies, random chance bad luck and service. We can rule out beasts of burden —that’s right, only a racist ethnocentric would have the unmitigated gall to even suggest the 6th House is “pets.”
Yes, we’re calling Modern astrologers ethnocentric racists. Deal with it.
Scorpio occupies the 6th House in the chart of Kamala Harris. What kind of sign is Scorpio? What does it mean? Scorpio is a servile sign. So….putting it all together, what does Kamala Harris do? What is her nature? She serves.
Kamala Harris serves. She’s in service to others. That is what she does. That is her raison d’être; her purpose here on Planet Earth. It is her mission in life.
What does Donald Trump do? We’re talking about Sun. Granted, we haven’t provided any significations for Sun and we’ve decided to hold off to the Advanced level. Why? In our experience if we provided 5 significations for Sun then people seize on those 5 and hamstring themselves by refusing to consider other valid significations. If we gave them 10 significations then those 10 significations are they only ones they’d use.
That is not the art of astrology.
The art of astrology is understanding that Sun’s principle is to select or elevate. Elevate not in the sense of elevation, glorification or bonification, rather in the sense of promoting, advancing, increasing, lifting, heightening etc. It is from the principle of Sun selecting or elevating that we get the signification of royalty, kingly, people and things that are regal, the ruling class, heads-of-state, the elite, high level management and leaders.
What does Gemini mean? Gemini is a poised sign and also a rational sign. Under no circumstances will you construe that as personality traits because they are not. Trump is hardly rational or poised. We’re talking about Sun. Sun is poised and rational rather than free and violent, or servile and violent, or free and incomplete (as some signs are).
What is the 11th House? Friends? No. The 11th House was never friends. The 11th House is patronage. And alliances. Alliances are formed with your co-workers. Subordinates? Your subordinates are going to hand you the keys to that cushy corner office overlooking the park and gets the morning sunlight so the office is cozy all day and it has its own lavatory? No, but your superiors will.
Your superiors may be friendly but that doesn’t make them friends. Your boss might take you out to lunch, maybe even to dinner or buy you a few drinks after work but your boss isn’t going to invite you over to their house and you two sit around braiding each other’s hair revealing your innermost thoughts and darkest secrets.
Associations and organizations are political parties, unions, trade associations, professional associations, professional organizations and groups, business and industry organizations, social groups, corporations and companies and others.
Putting it all together, Trump’s raison d’être is to interact with and lead those things relevant to the 11th House. Now, this is just a beginner’s level chart delineation. In advanced astrology, we would see that Sun is in the bounds of Mars and Mars sits in the Leo 1st House and is domicile ruler of the Aries 9th House and Sun is domicile master of the Aries 9th House which is government and authority. Why? Because we are doing natal astrology. If we were doing horary astrology, that would be the 10th House but we ain’t doing horary astrology, are we? No, we’re not. Use the corrupted and perverted house meanings from the CRAMP astrologers —the Classical, Renaissance, Arabic, Modern and Persian astrologers— and you’ll be staring at your chart for the rest of your life and never figure anything out.
Virgo 2nd House: Mercury domicile ruler and master
Mercury: Domicile ruler and master of the 2nd House in the 12th House.
This indicates Trump will suffer losses of income, real estate, assets, investments and business partners. In Advanced Astrology, you’ll learn that charts come in 5 flavors: Unfortunate, Mediocre, Fortunate, Elite and Ruling. They are self-explanatory but suffice to say Unfortunate Charts are roughly 10% of the population who live short brutal miserable lives and never amount to anything. If they reach age 35, it’s a banner day.
Mediocre Charts are about 65% of the population and there’s a 99.7% chance you have one. There’s no reason to run down to Wal*Mart and buy a pack of Gillette Silver Blues or 20 feet of nylon rope from your local hardware store. The people with Mediocre Charts never amount to more than what they are. You can take solace in the fact that if it wasn’t for the people with Mediocre Charts, nothing would ever get done. There are millions and millions of doctors, lawyers, judges and politicians with Mediocre Charts.
Approximately 15% of the population are the people with Fortunate Charts who become footnotes in history. 90% of the athletes, musicians and entertainers have Mediocre Charts and the of the 10% who don’t, 90% of those have a Fortunate Chart. There the ones who never get into the Halls of Fame or win a Grammy, Oscar, Emmy or Golden Globe award. Lots of doctors, attorneys, judges, politicians, professors and business people in this group.
The Elite and Ruling Charts are the celebrities and the movers-and-shakers of the world. Everything in the chart is judged against the chart type. An Unfortunate Chart with “ruler of the 2nd in the 12th” pretty much says it all. For a Mediocre Chart, that can make things difficult from time-to-time. Someone with a Fortunate, Elite or Ruling Chart can usually bear financial losses without ending up on Skid Row.
That is not the only possible interpretation. In the chart of Prince or the Artist Formerly Known as Prince or the Machine That Goes ‘Ping’ or whatever he called himself, Jupiter as domicile ruler and master of the Sagittarius 2nd House being in the 12th House is what put him on “the path that goes astray.” That’s why he was going squiggles flopping around on the floor of an elevator (or “lift” for the real English speakers) from a drug over-dose a few seconds before he died and urinated all over himself.
Libra 3rd House: Venus is domicile ruler with Saturn as domicile master
Venus: Domicile ruler of the 3rd House in the 12h House.
Saturn: Domicile master of the 3rd House in the 12h House.
The 3rd House is siblings, relatives, family friends and travel away from home or being away from home. Trump will suffer losses related to his siblings, relatives or family friends, and travels away from home might incur losses or not be profitable for Trump.
This is just a beginner’s level delineation. As an advanced or experienced astrologer, you’d note the same in your hand-written notes or on a word doc or maybe you voice record them (however you want to do it). In the advanced section you’ll learn how to work with derived houses.
The eighth house from the 3rd House —the 10th House— indicates the death of siblings or relatives or family friends. In this chart, Taurus occupies the 10th House and Venus as domicile ruler and master of the Taurus 10th House is in the 12th House. Your conclusion is Trump’s siblings predecease him. As a point of fact, three of Trump’s siblings are dead. An older sister is still alive. It also can show one or more siblings or family members turning against the person as was the case for Trump. His niece published a “tell-all” books which Trump and his brother tried to block, and his sister is least likely to vote for him.
But, Venus is also domicile master of the Pisces 8th House which is legal matters and lawsuits. No, you cannot use the corrupted and perverted house meanings from the CRAMP astrologers. That combination suggests Trump is sued by a sibling or relative. As a point of fact, his niece filed a lawsuit against Trump and his siblings claiming they cheated her out of money from her father’s estate. Her father was Fred Trump, Jr. who died 40 years ago.
The 3rd House is also the derived 2nd House of Trump’s business partners indicating they suffer financial losses and that is what Saturn indicates.
Scorpio 4th House: Mars is domicile ruler and master
Mars: Domicile ruler and master of the 4th House in the 1st House.
The 4th House is parents, household and local community (generally the support base). Trump did not earn his wealth. He was gifted his wealth when his father died and he inherited part of his father’s real estate empire. “Ruler of the 4th in the 1st” is quite common in many Elite and Ruling Charts. You see it in the chart of Indira Gandhi who inherited her wealth and a healthy heaping dose of power and prestige from her father Prime Minister Nehru.
Sagittarius 5th House: Jupiter is domicile ruler and master
Jupiter: Domicile ruler and master of the 5th House in the 3rd House.
The 5th House is children but may indicate physical pleasures since it trines the 1st House. In contrast, the 9th house which also trines the 1st House indicates temporal pleasures like wisdom and learning. The 3rd House is the eleventh house from the 5th House and tells you what the children are doing which is patronage, alliances and associations. His children are very much involved in both his business career and political career.
Sagittarius is both a double-bodied sign and like Capricorn and bicorporal sign. In a man’s chart it often indicates the children are from more than one mother. In a woman’s chart, more than one father. Regardless, we recommend using the Lot of Children to confirm that.
Capricorn 6th House: Saturn is domicile ruler and master
Saturn: Domicile ruler and master of the 6th House in the 12th House
The 6th House indicates diseases, illnesses, accidents and injuries, harm from hidden enemies and things that alleviate your burdens like servants or beasts of burden. In the modern era, a business owner doesn’t have servants or slaves, they have employees (pronounced /sleɪvs/), and beasts of burden would be the vehicles and machinery that create financial burdens for people.
Many have been misled to believe that Saturn joys in the 12th House. That’s true. Saturn does joy in the 12th House and your interpretation of that is Saturn has rings. Or Saturn is 794,190,000 million miles from Earth. Take your pick. The joys are a teaching aid. A tool for astrology students. We’ll see if we an get something up about that.
We’re reluctant to use the word “harm.” Anguish or suffering are better descriptors because the hidden enemies in the 6th House rarely cause physical harm. They certainly meddle and interfere. Harm is usually limited to the 12th House enemies except where the domicile ruler, domicile master or domicile lord of the 6th House is in the 12th House. Then they can produce physical harm.
In our predictive section in advanced astrology we’ll show you zodiacal releasing (the right way to do it — lots of fakes and liars on the internet) and on July 13, 2024, Capricorn and Cancer were the active significators for Trump activating the 6th/12th Houses.
This is probably something we should clear up in Part 3 and also in the sections on affliction but you have to split hairs.
Saturn is afflicted in 3 different ways:
- Saturn in the Cancer 12th House. Moon is domicile ruler but in aversion in the Sagittarius 5th House so Moon has no control over what happens in the 12th House. Jupiter as exaltation ruler of Cancer is the domicile master and Jupiter in the Libra 3rd House does dictate what happens but does not counteract Saturn’s bad placement; and
- Saturn as domicile master of the Libra 3rd House is afflicted by placement in the 12th House; and
- Saturn in the Cancer 12th House is domicile ruler of the Capricorn 6th House and since Mars is in aversion in Leo, Saturn is also domicile master of the Capricorn 6th House.
The first two are negated due Jupiter and Saturn being in mutual reception by exaltation-exaltation. But the third? No, that is not negated. It’s very important to understand who or what is afflicting (or glorifying-bonifying) a star. The afflicted star is not going to wreak havoc on everything. Just those houses the star controls (as domicile master or domicile lord).
Never knee-jerk and panic when you see an afflicted star. Exalted stars can cause double the damage. Retrograde planets are bad 90% of the time but there’s that 10% of the time when they prevent bad things from happening. Afflicted stars work roughly the same way.
An afflicted star ruling your 1st House or 10th House is not going to be pleasant for you. But, an afflicted star ruling your 6th House? That’s good. Afflicted Saturn is what keeps Trump healthy. Has the guy suffered any serious illness or medical condition? No, never. Now you know why.
His afflicted Saturn also keeps his enemies under control. They take their best shots but they’re not very effective at keeping him out of office (1 chance in 3 is not even statistically relevant). One reason Trump survived the assassination attempt is precisely because Saturn is afflicted. Had Saturn been exalted, or glorified (bonified) he might very well have died.
Aquarius 7th House: Saturn is domicile ruler. Jupiter is domicile lord.
Saturn: Domicile ruler of the 7th House in the 12th House.
Here’s where afflicted Saturn will go to work affecting his marriages. He’s been married three times. The first two ended badly. Domicile ruler of the 7th House in the 8th House indicates the marriage ends in death. Sometimes domicile ruler of the 7th House in the 12th House also indicates the same but not in this case with Cancer occupying the 12th House.
Jupiter: Domicile lord of the 7th House in the 3rd House
This has nothing to do with Trump’s marriages. It’s about his friends. Recall there are three houses in the chart that indicate “friends.” Your 9th House “friends” or casual friends are formed through fellowship in wisdom and learning. Those are the people you talk to in class and sit with them in the lunch room eating lunch but you never see them outside of school. In college you talk to them in class and maybe hang together on campus to study but, again, you rarely see them outside of class or off-campus.
You are friendly with the people at your place of worship or in your hobby group and you see them there and at functions related to those things, but you don’t hang with them outside of those environments.
The 3rd House and 7th House are your closest friends. The friends in your 3rd House have a special status as family friends. Not only are they your friend, they’re also the friend of your spouse or significant other and they might be in your home so often that your children refer to them as “uncle Timmy” or “auntie Jayla.”
Trump’s friends are of a Jupiterian nature —mostly businessmen, politicians and attorneys— often becoming family friends functioning as advisors in his business and political career.
Pisces 8th House: Jupiter is domicile ruler. Venus is domicile master
Jupiter: Domicile ruler of the 8th House in the 3rd House.
People die traveling away from home or being away from home. It also indicates siblings die of illnesses. Three of Trump’s siblings died of illnesses. The fourth sibling (an older sister) still lives.
Venus: Domicile master of the 8th House in the 12th House.
This indicates loss of benefits from the dead which includes but is not limited solely exclusively to inheritance, losses from legal matters or lawsuits, losses of trusts or legacies, and death as a crime victim or death by other causes like accidents, injuries, diseases or illnesses.
Since Cancer occupies the 12th House and Venus is the non-sect benefic in the bounds of Jupiter we can rule out death. Venus has nothing to do with the 4th House allowing us to rule out inheritance. The losses come from legal matters or lawsuits.
Aries 9th House: Mars is domicile ruler and Sun is domicile master
Mars: Domicile ruler of the 9th House in the 1st House.
Stars in the 1st House indicate what is important to a person. Don’t be obtuse. No place in astrology for obtuse people. The fact that someone has no stars in their 1st House does not mean nothing is important to them. Astrology is a rules-based scientific study of Fate. Stars in the 1st House show you what’s important to them relative to their fate. The 9th House is government, authority, wisdom and learning.
Since that star is Mars we can rule out wisdom and learning. What’s important to Trump is government and authority. Trump likes to be “Charles in charge.”
Sun: Domicile master of the 9th House in the 11th House.
One thing we glossed over until now is that Sun in the 11th House typically indicates a noteworthy father at some level and in this instance, one involved in government, authority, wisdom and learning. Additionally, it also tells you where or how indicators of the 9th House are applied and in this instance government and authority relative to those things of the 11th House, namely, alliances, associations and organizations.
You can see how those 3 houses —the 1st House, 9th House and 11th House interact and that’s something we’ll flesh out in more detail in the advanced section.
Taurus 10th House: Venus is domicile ruler and master
Venus: Domicile ruler and master of the 10th House in the 12th House.
We saw the same thing in the chart of Kamala Harris. The difference is that in Trump’s chart Venus is not afflicted while in Kamala’s chart Jupiter was afflicted and ruled by afflicted Venus, plus Kamala had the “you’re fired” aspect (Saturn right square Jupiter) and Jupiter and Saturn are both retrograde in her chart.
That’s why you must interpret the entire chart before attempting to make predictions. Interpreting the entire chart means interpreting all 12 houses —every stinking one of them whether you want to or not— and all of the figures in the chart.
Nobody bothered to delineate Kamala Harris’ chart so they never say the 14 red flags (a novice would have seen 8 such red flags) telling you she can’t be president of the United States. Once Trump is elected, the spectre of Venus in the 12th House looms its head and Trump lost re-election. The 2016 U.S. Election would have been difficult to predict since there was no verifiable birth data for Hillary Clinton. It’s risky without the charts of both candidates. Of course, that did not stop people from making predictions but at the end of the day, they had a 50-50 chance and they got lucky.
Sadly, deceives people into believing their erroneous methods work when in fact they don’t and if you averaged it out over time their “success” rate would be no better than a coin toss. Anyway, Trump was impeached twice but never convicted. Since Venus is in a double-bodied sign, there’s still the possibility that Trump is impeached, convicted and removed from office.
Gemini 11th House: Mercury is domicile ruler and Jupiter is domicile lord
Mercury: Domicile ruler of the 11th House in the 12th House.
Trump has many enemies in the form of associations, organizations and entities. SAG-AFTRA (the merger of the Screen Actors Guild and American Federation of Television and Radio Artists union) initiated disciplinary hearings after the events of January 6, 2021. Trump resigned before the hearings could proceed further. Many other parties that are part of the 11th House attempted or have caused Trump losses in some way, shape or form.
Jupiter: Domicile lord of the 11th House in the 3rd House.
This indicates help from family and friends with career. Early on, Trump had considerable help from his siblings who operated many joint ventures together with family friends functioning as business advisors. Some commentators noted that after Trump’s father died, Trump no longer had access to the political apparatus and insiders who made his father so successful. As his father’s close friends died off, Trump no longer had them as advisors and his business ventures started failing.
Cancer 12th House: Moon is domicile ruler and Jupiter is domicile master
Moon: Domicile ruler of the 12th House in the 5th House.
This indicates problems or grief for his children. It can indicate the loss of a child but that’s typically domicile ruler of the 5th House in the 12th House. One of Trump’s ex-wives took their child and fled to California which is about as far away from New York as you can possibly get. She might have left the country but not for a court order barring her from taking the child out of the U.S.
Jupiter: Domicile lord of the 12th House in the 3rd House.
We covered this in part earlier. It portends losses caused by siblings, family members and relatives, and his business partners.
Do not muss or fret over this. It’s a beginner’s level delineation and even as an experienced astrologer this would be your initial delineation to get a feel for things. As a reminder, you can do the figures and configurations first if you want to, then do your initial house delineation later. We like this method because we think it helps when doing your initial interpretation of the aspects.

If that’s o.k. I will ask whenever in doubts as I have read everything here and on Quora but still can’t figure out many things.
For example, if someone has the master of the 8th house in the 12th does it mean he will be killed by his open enemies or the other way round?? How would that change if there would be a planet or a light in the 8th house and how would that work out if the 8th is empty?

It might mean that but it depends heavily on the signs and stars and what other houses they control in the chart. It could be someone loses their inheritance. It could be some form of legal or administrative action to recover a debt. Another possibility is the government seizes their property or income for failure to pay taxes. It could indicate divorce. It could mean the loss of legacies (royalties on patents or copyrights, rents earned thru the lease of land for timber, mineral, oil or natural gas rights, trust accounts).
Every planet is domicile ruler of at least 2 houses and the lights are domicile rulers of at least 1 house but they can be domicile master or lords of as many as 4 houses in the chart. When we say “read the chart” we mean look at the houses a star controls because it tells a story and other stars in those houses or in aspect to the star you’re looking at are the people and things involved in that story.
That is not always an easy thing to do since the stars wear many different hats but that comes with practice and experience.
Thanks for your question because that means we might need to take a different approach to chart delineation so that people can learn better. Not everyone learns the same way and there’s nothing wrong with that.
I think my brain is piecing it together now. Thank you for explaining it like that. I have that placement as well but in my case, it is specifically Mercury ruler/master of the Twins of the 8th in the Scales of the 12th. I know for sure that Libra is a human violent sign so that may be a clue that it involves other humans and possibly open enemies (or more specifically criminals). Mercury is lord of the 4th, ruler/master of the 8th and ruler of the 11th. So that’s parents (likely father), legal matters or lawsuits or inheritance/benefit from dead, and granted authority or things that can support my career.
That seems like a story involved the will of a dead parent or my dead father but I am not sure how the 11th would fit into that. Moreover even though Libra is a human voiced violent sign, it may not involve actual physical harm and possibly just a conflict or some type of financial crime. I am still lost.
Even more complicated is that the 4th/8th are both empty but the 11th has Venus and both Saturn and Moon are in aspect to him. Saturn would most likely be government or authority, Venus and Moon I am unsure about.
Correction. I reread the comment and realized you said the other houses the stars control.
Redo: Mercury is the star that is the domicile master of the 8th in the 12th. He is in a violent and human sign. Mercury is controls the 4th as well as the domicile lord. Both the 4th and 8th are empty but Saturn and Moon are in aspect to Mercury.
I am not too sure who those people could be. Since Saturn is the domicile ruler of the 3rd and 4th I am inclined to think it could be family or relatives.
Since Jupiter is the master of the 2nd and 9th and Sun is co-present with Mercury and Sun is with Mercury so definitely legal matters involved and possibly loss of inheritance.
Why is Saturn the domicile master for Libra is Venus is already in aspect?
Hello, WaterElemental. Technically speaking, for the signs that have exaltation rulers they are co-rulers when both aspect the sign.
If you don’t mind elaborating, would you delineate it similar to how it was in this guide through Trump’s chart? I have a couple of houses that would be co-ruled as both house and exaltation ruler are in aspect. That would also mean that Mars has connection to 3 instead of 2 houses in my chart.
I have Capricorn in the 3rd House with Mars in the 12th and Saturn in the 9th. So are you saying Saturn would be the domicile ruler and Mars would actually be the master and dictate the matters of the house?
