The Difference between Left and Right
In the two charts below we’re focused on the square forming between Moon and Mercury:

The standard view in Modern astrology and even in “traditional” astrology is that Moon squares Mercury. That’s wrong. Those square figures between Moon and Mercury are not the same and the meanings are different. In the chart of Anonymous 102 we have Moon right square Mercury which is not the same as Mercury right square Moon in the chart of Anonymous 121.
For your amusement, we provide the Modern astrology “interpretation” from Solarfire (Version 9.01) from someone named Stephanie Johnson-Dip who pretends to be an astrologer to demonstrate what an abject failure Modern astrology really is.
SQUARE MERCURY Orb 1°33′ Separating [in the chart of Anonymous 121]
“You are indecisive, spending much time weighing up the pros and cons. This is because your feelings and thoughts are at odds. As you learn how to compromise you will develop understanding and an inner knowledge on how to act.”
SQUARE MERCURY Orb 6°43′ Applying [in the chart of Anonymous 102]
“You are indecisive, spending much time weighing up the pros and cons. This is because your feelings and thoughts are at odds. As you learn how to compromise you will develop understanding and an inner knowledge on how to act.”
That is 100% subjective unverifiable discredited Jungian psycho-babbling nonsense and completely wrong. The only way to verify it would be for the person to take the California Personality Inventory (CPI) or the Minnesota Multiphasic Personality Inventory (MMPI).
We know it’s wrong for many reasons, including the fact that Hunter has Mercury right square Moon. He was battalion S-3 Air in the 18th Airborne Corps in Panama and battalion S-3 for a VII Corps unit in Iraq. Indecisive people don’t get to be in those positions. As Hunter put it, you can’t exactly tell the Republican Guard to go take their lunch so’s you can stop the war and have a confab with FAC, FIST, the company commanders and the Old Man to decide if a bridge ought to be destroyed and if it should be destroyed whether to use missiles, strike aircraft, artillery or engineers.
Not only are Stephanie Johnson’s bogus interpretations wrong, what she is doing is immoral and unethical.
It’s no secret many people are susceptible to the Jedi mind trick.
Imagine someone who is decisive and made good or mostly good decisions to this point in their life and now here comes some psycho-babbling superstar psycho-analyst wannabe telling that person they’re “indecisive.”
Hunter would decisively stuff Stephanie Johnson-Dip’s ass into a dipsy-dumpster where it belongs but for someone susceptible to the Jedi mind trick the “seed of doubt” has now been planted and they start being indecisive causing themselves harm. That is unconscionable.
Not only is it unconscionable, it’s morally repugnant.
And if anyone cannot agree it is morally repugnant to cause harm to another then we have nothing further to discuss with them.
While we’re at it, let’s look at what the moronic mental midgets March & McEvers have to say: “You are unreasonable since your feelings are always involved with your judgments.”
Wrong, and notice Modern astrologers can never agree on what anything means. Fortunately, March & McEvers are dead so we don’t have to listen to their lies any longer, but unfortunately they published a lot of books. Poor Lydia and Spencer got suckered into their nonsense and wasted valuable time before realizing it’s one big giant Jedi mind trick.
We want to impress upon you the very real difference between left and right.
Anonymous 121: The actual configuration is Mercury right square Moon right square Saturn right trine Jupiter right sextile Mercury opposition Saturn.
That’s a mouthful, we know. Mercury right square Moon is an indicator of above average intelligence. One thing you’ll appreciate about non-Ptolemaic Hellenistic astrology is that judgments are 100% objective and verifiable in stark contrast to Modern astrology which is 100% subjective and unverifiable.
Above average intelligence means someone has a bigger brain than 80% of the population. The condition of Mercury and Moon will tell you if the person is MENSA level or somewhere between big brain and MENSA level. In this chart, estimate an IQ of 130 points give or take 15 points in part because Moon has just separated from an exact figure with Mercury and a few other factors based on concepts we haven’t introduced yet such as the fact that nothing elevates Mercury but nothing harms him, either, and Moon’s very bad placement in the 6th House is counteracted by domicile master Venus in the 4th House. This person has a mild case of Asperger’s Syndrome coupled with a mental illness, specifically an anxiety disorder indicated by the Mercury-Saturn opposition and Moon’s right square to Saturn from the Taurus 6th House.
Indecisive? No, absolutely not. This person is very decisive and coupled with their big brain is the only reason they’re employed. As you might guess, they work from home because they do not work well or play well with others. This person is a software coder or programmer and speaks several different languages which allows him to do contract work for companies in Europe. He’s never dated and won’t be getting married because other than his parents, there’s no one who’d put up with his tantrums.
Anonymous 102: The figure here is Moon right square Mercury. Mercury does right trine Saturn but Saturn in aversion to Moon as is Venus.

Moon right square Mercury is not an indicator of high intelligence. It indicates a con-artist or person who engages in fraud and deception, or is emotionally insecure or has a mental illness, or someone who is flighty (as in scatter-brained and lacks follow-thru).
How do you tell which one of those meanings to use? Well, you see those little frilly decorations around the wheel? Those are called “signs.” We use them. This person is a con-artist.
None of you will be able to interpret this chart correctly because we haven’t covered an incredibly critical concept called “joint domicile masters” yet. Without explanation, here is a run-down of who “rules” what in the chart:
- Aries 1st House: Mars
- Taurus 2nd House: Venus
- Gemini 3rd House: Saturn
- Cancer 4th House: Jupiter
- Leo 5th House: Sun
- Virgo 6th House: Mercury
- Libra 7th House: Venus
- Scorpio 8th House: Moon
- Sagittarius 9th House: Jupiter
- Capricorn 10th House: Saturn
- Aquarius 11th House: Mercury
- Pisces 12th House: Venus
A brief principle: domicile rulers indicate; domicile masters dictate.
Moon as domicile master of the Scorpio 8th dictates what happens to 8th House matters and while we haven’t broached the subject yet, we have domicile master of the 8th in the 11th. Mercury as domicile master of the Aquarius 11th dictates what happens and we have master of the 11th in the 2nd House (income, etc). Even though Mercury is domicile master of the 11th, Saturn is still domicile ruler and indicates what happens regarding the 11th House. And Mercury is still the domicile ruler of the Gemini 3rd House giving us ruler of the 3rd in the 2nd. Mercury in a right trine to Saturn is also an indicator of intelligence and also money/finances and in this instance the intelligence is of a criminal nature (Saturn shows us cunning here).
One other thing of note we haven’t covered yet. Jupiter in the 1st House and being the domicile master of the Cancer 4th House glorifies Venus who is the domicile master of the Pisces 12th House which is why this person doesn’t spend a lot of time in prison when they go to prison (they’re considered a “non-violent offender” and get kicked if a prison is over-crowded).
Ne’er knew this, regards for letting me know.
Do the exaltation ruled the signs over the house rulers if both aspect or is it the house ruler unless the house ruler is averse.
