Enclosure
Just as malefic enclosure is by figure or bodily joining, so is benefic enclosure. Due to the fact that Venus is always close to Sun, make certain Venus is not under Sun’s beams.
Benefic enclosure by figure requires the rays of one benefic to fall in front of the target star while the rays of the other benefic land behind the target star. In both instances the rays must land within 7° of the target star.
Benefic enclosure by body requires a star to be in the same sign and sitting between both benefics and the benefics must be within 7° on either side of the target star.

Mars in the Virgo 2nd House at 9°. Venus in the Capricorn 6th House at 13° hurls a ray landing in front of Mars and within 7° while Jupiter in the Gemini 11th House at 7° hurls a square ray landing behind Mars at Virgo 7°. Mars is enclosed by figure and elevated in this chart.
Jupiter is domicile master of the Aries 9th House. Mars is domicile ruler and master of the Scorpio 4th House. The domicile master of the 4th House in the 2nd House tells us she benefited from her family’s wealth and from the fame and notoriety of her parents, in particular her father and Mars elevated tells us her father was an important person (as does Aries Saturn in the 11th House).
Gandhi was not the father of Indira Gandhi. Her father was Prime Minister Nehru who the United States tried to murder by assassination at the behest of the British but fortunately failed. For more than 60 years Americans are deceived into believing the so-called “Cuban Missile Crisis” was the closest the world ever came to World War III. It was not. Not even close. Not even a chance. The closest the world ever came was 34 minutes in 1971 when the United States sent Task Force 74 to harass and intimidate Prime Minister Gandhi during the 1971 Pakistani-Indian War but she would not bow down.
Mars is the domicile ruler but not the domicile master of the Aries 9th House. Jupiter has that honor. Even so, the domicile ruler of the 9th House in the 2nd House indicates how successful (or not) her travels in India and to foreign countries were. Mercury as domicile ruler and master of the Virgo 2nd posited in the Sagittarius 5th House offsets the placement of Mars in a house without advantage making her travels successful more often than not. Mars glorified makes them even more successful.
Venus in the Capricorn 6th House is afflicted due to the fact that the placement of Mars who is the domicile master of the 6th House (Saturn is just the domicile ruler) does not counteract the very bad placement of Venus. Venus is the domicile ruler and master of the Taurus 10th House. Her career was plagued by lots of problems (war is certainly one of them).

Jupiter at Aquarius 26° in the 9th House hurls a ray in opposition landing in front of Mars at Leo 23° in the 3rd House. Venus hurls a sextile ray to Leo 20° from Libra 20°. Mars is enclosed and elevated.
That’s one reason we’re showing this chart. A benefic in opposition can still elevate by enclosure just as malefic in opposition can afflict by enclosure.
The other reason is that at first glance this chart seems scary since there is no domicile master for the Pisces 10th House. Jupiter is in aversion. Exaltation ruler Venus is in aversion. Water trigon rulers Moon and Mars are in aversion. The three water triplicity rulers are in aversion. But notice where the MC Point falls. It is in the 9th House and so we blend the 9th and 10th Houses together. Jupiter and Saturn have co-rulership of the combined 9th and 10th House (so it is when the MC Point falls in the 11th House we combine the 10th and 11th Houses).
Jupiter in a right sextile portends success and fame, even more so with Jupiter and Saturn being in advantageous houses, especially the 11th House but Jupiter and Saturn are also retrograde. Recall that retrograde means that one suffers a serious set-back, major reversal of fortune or circumstance, being rejected, denied, thwarted, frustrated, or ruined or destroyed or things fall apart and it means that 100% of the time in 100% of charts no exceptions ever. While it does not affect a person every day, it can affect them when the figure is activated.
Gould wasn’t just an actor. He was also a producer of films, Broadway plays and other theatrical endeavors. He purchased the rights to several projects which were frustrated and never got off the ground, or production started but was thwarted and never finished, or was finished but was a box-office flop or not critically acclaimed. Some of the projects he completed were modestly successful or at least were critically acclaimed but as the sextile indicates, not overwhelmingly so.
Mars as domicile ruler and master of the Aries 11th House would normally harm Saturn via counteraction by placement. Saturn would not be afflicted, but Saturn would devolve from a good state to a neutral or bad state. Since the MC Point is in the 9th House the 3rd House becomes an advantageous house so there is no harm to Saturn in this chart since Mars does not counteract Saturn’s good placement.
Elevated Mars boosts the 11th House and Saturn, which is not his friends. It is his alliances and associations in the film industry. These associations, and patronage (something else the 11th House represents) are what funded his film projects, steered him to take roles in other films and later steered him into television shows.

Cooper Hefner
Mercury elevated by benefic enclosure. Mercury is stationary and Day+7 after birth is moving direct. Venus on the same day is stationary (turning direct) which are both positive indicators. Jupiter is domicile master of the Leo 11th House. Mercury is ruler and master of the Gemini 11th House. Moon is master of the Virgo 12th House and ruler and master of the Cancer 10th House.
His travels will be beneficial to his associations. The 9th House is “travel away from home.” If you misinterpreted that as “foreign travel” congratulations are in order for willfully misinterpreting the chart and botching any predictions arising from the 9th and 11th Houses.
From an interpretive view, Mercury ruler of the 12th in the 11th House and Moon domicile master of the 12th House in the 10th House does not bode well for the future. The good news is stationary Venus is domicile ruler and master of the Libra 1st and Taurus 8th House so he might defeat his enemies.
