- a star forming a figure on the right with a benefic and in the same degree; or
- a star in concourse with a benefic and applying within 3°

Mars being in a right square in the same degree as Jupiter at Scorpio 22° elevates Mars and in this instance it prevented her rape from being physically violent.
Let’s get the chart set up.
Mars rules the Scorpio 1st House, Sagittarius 2nd House and Aries 6th House.
Saturn rules the Capricorn 3rd House.
Mercury rules the Aquarius 4th and Gemini 8th Houses and because the MC Point falls in the 11th House Mercury rules that as well (combining the 10th and 11th Houses).
Jupiter rules the Pisces 5th, Cancer 9th and Leo 10th Houses.
Venus rules the Taurus 7th and Libra 12th Houses.
Now that we have that set up, let’s do some beginner level delineation. Mars as ruler of the 1st House in the 10th House indicates career is their life focus and that they are primarily responsible for creating their career. But, you also have Jupiter as ruler of the 10th in the 1st House. You will find such people turn their life into their career.
You’ll see the same arrangement in the chart of Neil Young. 90% of the songs he wrote were things that happened to him; things he witnessed; or things he experienced in his life. Or they turn some event in their life into a career. These are often modern crusaders. For example, losing a child in a drunk driving accident or losing a child to a pedophile and they parlay that event into a career. Hahn quite shamelessly milked her ordeal for every penny she could get making a career out of it. On Day+6 Jupiter is stationary so Jupiter will feature prominently in her chart. We did not say Jupiter was stronger. We simply said Jupiter will stand out in her chart.
Notice Mars as ruler of the 6th in the 10th House. Astrology requires common sense so we wouldn’t say an accident or injury propels her to fame. Her hidden enemies do that for her. If her hidden enemies hadn’t been so harsh with their rumors Hahn would not have gone public which was the only way to defend herself against those damaging rumors. Again, this is 1980’s America and we all know Hahn strapped explosives to her body like a suicide bomber and forced Jim Bakker and John Fletcher to drug her and rape her.
Venus as domicile ruler and master of the Libra 12th is in the 10th House. Her open enemies also propelled her to stardom. Her open enemies were basically every born-again Christian in America calling her the “Whore of Babylon” on talk shows on Christian radio and TV stations. Always make sure you shed your anachronisms. You cannot view the world of the past through the year 2025. You will fail. Your chart interpretations will fail. And you’ll be wasting your time on predictive methods. Always bear that in mind when doing the charts for your parents, grandparents or any other older person.
Not to belabor the point, but this is not an horary chart. This is a natal chart and in a natal chart the 6th House is hidden enemies and the 12th House is enemies known to you at some point or another. You must use the original house meanings to interpret a chart and make predictions. You cannot use the house meanings from the Arabs, Persian, Medieval, Latin, Renaissance, Classical or Modern astrologers. If you use them. your interpretations will fail, your predictions will fail and worse, you’ll overlook an event that turns your life upside-down.
Previously, we mentioned Venus right square Jupiter indicates adultery, illicit love affairs or sordid romances.
If you’re offended by the fact that we’re quoting delineations from texts that are 1,600 to 2,500 years old instead of making things up like Modern astrologers do, then gouge out your eyes or something.
But notice Venus has separated from Mars. Recall our discussion on colors and flavors. Recall we said everyone is wrong since the stars do not signify or represent any color or flavor. Recall we said that a star disengaging from a hex, square, trine or opposition to another star is colored by the experience. Also recall we said a star separating from a bodily joining tastes that star.
What does Mars taste like? Well, it would make a billy-goat puke.
So, what kind of sexual encounter is this? It’s sexual trauma. Venus and Mars in concourse and in a right square to Jupiter and each ruling a house of harm, namely the 6th and 12th Houses. People, use the signs. The signs are not there to make the chart look pretty. What kind of signs are Leo and Scorpio? Solid or fixed signs which tells use this event-based aspect will play out only once in her life.
And it did. Astrology is the original WYSIWYG (“What You See Is What You Get”). If it’s in the chart, it is happening or will happen. Guaranteed. We haven’t addressed Mars right square Jupiter. It indicates anxieties, judgment errors, difficulties, and persecution, usually by a group and again the signs and houses tell the story. Hahn was certainly persecuted by her hidden and open enemies.
Venus-Mars right square Jupiter (with Venus and Mars ruling one or both houses of harm) is not the only indicator of sexual trauma one might find in a chart. There are others and we’ll cover them later.

Sun at Leo 23° in a right square to Jupiter at Scorpio 23° is elevated.
Elevated stars don’t always produce good outcomes. Here we see a dangerous combination of Sun in the 11th in a right square to Jupiter in the 2nd House. Jupiter is master of the Cancer Midheaven, not Moon who is just the domicile ruler in the Aquarius 5th House.
If you did your station-checking, you noted a few things. Mercury turns direct and rules the Libra 1st House, Aquarius 5th House and Gemini 9th House. In the seven days after birth, stationary Venus turns retrograde, sinks under Sun’s beams and rules the Taurus 8th House. The Virgo 12th House is ruled by Saturn in Capricorn with domicile ruler Mercury in the 11th House.
Sun right square Jupiter indicates harassment or persecution. Elevated Sun has a license to persecute or harass effectively. Since Sun rules neither the 6th nor 12th Houses, and since Sun in Leo in the 11th House is those doing the harassing or persecuting you can assume that is government or another authority-based group. That is also an event-based figure and being in fixed or solid signs will happen only once.

Before we begin, we want to draw attention to Moon in a right hex to Mars. As you know, Mars right hex/trine Moon is a success indicator. Moon in a right hex/trine to Mars is also a success indicator but that success comes with a price and that price is what they sacrifice to achieve success. To determine what people sacrifice to achieve success you need only look at the houses ruled by Moon as domicile master (not domicile ruler). As you saw in the chart of Kamala Harris she sacrificed a lucrative career in the private sector to work for less pay in the public (government) sector. Bob Fosse sacrificed his health which is why he died prematurely.
Moon is domicile ruler and master of the Cancer 7th House. Since Moon is in the 9th House which is “being away from home” or “travel away from home” and since Moon represents change and also movement she isn’t going to sacrifice travel. The 7th House is also sexual union. She ain’t no nun living in a convent. So, marriage is what she sacrifices to maintain or achieve her success.
The fact that she sacrifices certain facets of her marriage does not automatically mean she will divorce which brings us to elevated Moon.
Moon’s orb for engagement by figure or body is normally 13°. However, we use 3° for Moon just as we do all the stars to determine if they are afflicted or elevated. An elevated Moon might ameliorate any problems in the marriage related to the sacrifices she makes to achieve or maintain her success. It also makes her travels beneficial in some way. Consider the fact she met her husband while traveling.
Moon and Venus are in Virgo. There’s no problem there since Venus is an earth trigon ruler and Moon and Venus are earth triplicity rulers so they are perfectly comfortable in Virgo since there’s no such thing as “fall” or “detriment.” There is an issue with Scorpio Mercury being the domicile ruler and master. The chart is diurnal so Mercury plays for Team Sun. Moon and Venus are nocturnal stars in a nocturnal sign ruled by a diurnal star. That is counteraction by sign. It does not afflict Moon or Venus but they are slightly impeded since they are not of the same sect as Mercury.
The 9th House is advantageous and having domicile master Mercury in the 11th House which is also advantageous and superior to the 9th House does not harm Moon or Venus.

- Moon and Mercury are elevated when in a 3° applying aspect to Venus or Jupiter
- Sun and Mars are elevated when in a 3° applying aspect to Jupiter
- Sun and Mars can also be elevated when in a 3° applying aspect to retrograde Venus
- Saturn can only be elevated when in a 3° applying to retrograde Venus or retrograde Jupiter
