Out-of-Sign Figures
Yes, it is possible to form out-of-sign “aspects.” Pay particular attention to any stars at the end or beginning of a sign. We haven’t spent a lot of time discussing Moon. Moon has a movement rate of about 13° per day and for that reason, Moon is considered to be engaged to any star(s) when applying to them and within 13°.

Moon at Aquarius 27° is in an applying out-of-sign right square to Mars at Gemini 4° and an out-of-sign opposition to retrograde Venus at Virgo 7°. Venus is the domicile ruler and master of the Taurus 6th House but Venus is only the domicile ruler of Libra, not the master (that’s Saturn).
What kind of sign is on the 12th House? Scorpio, yes, but what kind of sign is Scorpio? You have to know what the signs mean if you want to interpret charts correctly. Scorpio is a mutilated sign. Moon “rules” Scorpio in this chart, not Mars. Mars is merely the domicile ruler. Moon is the domicile master and dictates what happens with 12th House matters. We haven’t covered health issues since that’s an advanced topic but Taurus rules the breasts. She had breast cancer surgery and since then she has fortunately been doing fine. In this chart, Jupiter is master of the Cancer 8th House, not Moon. Moon is merely the domicile ruler.

Here we have Jupiter at Sagittarius 1° in an out-of-sign right trine to Venus at Pisces 29° in the 10th House and that is a problem. Jupiter is already in a right square to Venus and normally, Jupiter in a right square or right trine to Venus is very positive but not in this chart with Mars in opposition to Jupiter and in a left square to Venus and right square to Moon in opposition to Sun.
Recall our earlier discussion using the charts of Kamala Harris and Donald Trump who both have Moon opposition Sun. That opposition signifies change(s) and being on the 11th/5th axis in their charts was a many splendid thing made even better by the hexes and trines from other stars.
Not in this chart. You don’t really want a Moon-Sun opposition on the 10th/4th axis but if you see that, you don’t want to see a Pisces Sun in a right square to a Gemini Moon. That is so not cool and the Mars-Jupiter opposition makes it worse since that indicates instability where you already have change (Moon-Sun opposition).

Out-of-sign aspects are more common among the faster stars at the end of the signs. Again, we haven’t covered retrograde motion so don’t ignore the possible of a retrograde star early in a sign backing into another sign and forming a figure.
Out-of-sign aspects are disruptive and rarely produce anything good. This woman committed suicide.
Like we said, never knee-jerk. Read the chart. A Moon-Sun opposition can be the best thing ever, or the most horrific nightmare (or somewhere in-between).
I believe there is a typo. “Not in this chart. You don’t really want a Moon-Sun opposition on the 10th/4th axis but if you see that, you don’t want to see a Pisces Sun in a right square to a Gemini Moon.”
I believe it supposed to be Pisces Sun in a right square to Gemini Mars.
What would be the “rules” for considering an out-of-sign aspect? Would it be restricted for the 7º degrees beginning and ending of a sign?
Additionally, when we have an out-of-sign aspect, should we disregard the aspects formed by sign?
