The concept of under Sun’s beams is used in the natal/mundane branch of astrology. The parallel concept in the separate horary and electional branch of astrology is “combust” or “combustion.” After much debate, we decided to prepare an article in the future proving there’s no such thing as “combust” planet in natal charts because we want you to see for yourself.

For brevity we abbreviate “under Sun’s beams” as USB (which should be easy to remember).

The first thing you need to know about USB is this:

If you said Venus and Mars, then congratulations are in order because you are correct.

USB is a degree-based condition, not a sign-based condition. Signs do not matter. It’s a simple yes or no question, “Is the star at a distance of 15° or less from Sun?”

You might have noticed we don’t used minutes of arc. There’s a reason why we do not use minutes of arc. This is astrology, not accounting. In accounting you need extreme precision. In astrology you do not. Greater precision does not lead to greater accuracy in astrology.

One of the World’s Worst Astrologers is Gian Paulo DiCocco who violates every single rule of astrology you could possibly violate and can’t even interpret charts right. He predicted Marine Le Pen would win the July 2024 election and be the next president of France. That never happened yet, oddly, he failed to predict that Le Pen would be arrested and convicted of embezzlement, sentenced to 4 years in prison with 2 years suspended and 2 years under house arrest.

Yeah, well, that’s what happens when you willfully and blatantly violate the rules of astrology.

Remember, astrology is a rules-based scientific study of Fate. The operand is “rules-based.” You must abide by the rules.

Who knows why he failed? Look at Venus and Mars again. They are USB. What does being under Sun’s beams mean? It means that someone or something is or is doing things invisible, unseen, hidden, secret, internal or unknown.

When you secretly create fictitious employees and then you secretly take campaign funds and contributions and hide them by paying phony  employees who don’t exist for work they never performed and then you steal the money from the fictitious employees and keep it for yourself that’s called embezzlement.

A French court agreed.

To correctly interpret Le Pen’s chart you must understand Venus is both domicile ruler and domicile master of the Libra 1st House (herself) and the Taurus 8th House (which includes legacies which are trusts and accounts and campaign contributes go into trusts/accounts), and Mars is both domicile ruler and domicile master of the Aries 7th House and Scorpio 2nd House (income) and Mars is also domicile master of the Virgo 12th House.

We haven’t addressed the concept of joint house rulers because you’re not ready for it yet but Mercury is the house ruler of Virgo and will always be the domicile ruler but in this chart Mercury cannot be the domicile master of Virgo because he is in aversion in the 11th House.

Let’s see….he flew secret missions in WW II, then after the war ended went to China and flew secret combat missions there, then flew secret missions in Korea and then was a test-pilot flying experimental aircraft classified Secret or Top Secret and then he was an astronaut. That wasn’t secret but the technology they had was a guarded secret lest the Russkies get hold of that technology and win the Space Race, and then as a U.S. Senator he was on the Foreign Relations Committee, Armed Forces Committee, and the Select Committee on Intelligence and some of those hearings were held secretly if they dealt with with classified information.

There’s also the issue of Moon opposition Mars which means constant danger.

Sorry, there’s no place in astrology for obtuse people. “Constant danger” does not mean every second of every minute of every hour of every day of every week of every month of every year. It just means people are often in danger.

Flying combat missions, many of the dangers are hidden or unknown. The same can be said as a test-pilot flying experimental aircraft that no one was even sure could fly. There are hidden or unknown dangers in Space.

Final Notes

Never knee-jerk. Read. The. Chart. We’ve shown you two examples of stars under Sun’s beams. One example was negative with negative repercussions while the other example was positive with many benefits.

The 7th House is the spouse in an horary or electional chart and in the 8-House System but we aren’t using those. We use the 12-House System and the 10th House is the spouse.

It’s said that behind every powerful man there’s a powerful woman. That is quite often true so don’t be surprised to see the domicile ruler or the domicile master of the 10th House under Sun’s beams. That could indicate the spouse is helping that person with something. With what? Read. The. Chart. Where are Sun and the domicile ruler/master? What houses do they “rule?” That’ll give you the answer. Maybe they’re helping with career, or 11th House matters or maybe their life (1st House).

Should you find the domicile master of the 10th House in the 2nd House you might want to heavily scrutinize the chart because that might mean the spouse is doing secret, hidden or unknown things with money, real estate, possessions or assets.

In a man’s chart, the domicile ruler or master of the 5th House under Sun’s beams might indicate he has a child he knows nothing about. A one night stand, she gets pregnant and doesn’t tell him for whatever reason so he doesn’t know.

We never read planets. We never read aspects. We never read signs. We never read houses. We read the chart, because that is the art of astrology.
