The Arabic and Persian Astrologers
In this series we examine who corrupted (or perverted) astrology and made a FUBAR mess of things making it difficult for people to correctly interpret charts and make accurate predictions.
Some people seem to be freaked out when Moon rules Scorpio. We understand. All the misinformation you’ve been fed about “fall” and “detriment” stymies your abilities.
You might have been on forums or websites with pompous asses strutting about saying, “Lord of the 6th House in the 10th House” or “Lord of the 11th House in the 7th House” or “Lord of the Chart.” You’re about to find out why they are clueless pompous asses. And how the Arabic and Persian astrologers ruined astrology.
Joint Domicile Masters
The concept is joint domicile masters. The drill-down is very simple.
1. The house ruler is always the domicile ruler of its houses but when the house ruler does not aspect its house(s) you look at the exaltation ruler.
2. If the exaltation ruler does not aspect its house of exaltation or if there is no exaltation ruler then you look at the trigon rulers.
3. The trigon rulers are the house rulers of the signs of the same element.
4. If none of the trigon rulers aspect the house then you look at the triplicity rulers.
5. If none of the triplicity rulers aspect the house then pray, because that person probably won’t live long enough to get their first social security check.
The Names of the Rulers
These were poorly understood, even by some of the Hellenistic astrologers:
- oikos = ruler
- oikodespotes = master
- kurios = lord
Some of you have figured it out already. The house rulers which are also the domicile rulers are the oikos. The exaltation rulers are the oikodespotes. The trigon rulers and the triplicity rulers are the kurios.

Which chart is the correct chart?
If you didn’t use whole sign houses, congratulations! You blew the interpretation and all of your predictions fail.
Only whole sign shows Mars in the Taurus 12th —where it belongs— opposition Saturn in the Scorpio 6th House — where it belongs. Normally, Saturn would be afflicted by placement but Saturn makes a right sextile to Jupiter in the same degree which elevates or bonifies Saturn negating the affliction.
What kind of illness kills Robert Altman? What kind of sign is Scorpio? A generative sign. Oh, wait…you were deceived into believing it is the re-generative reproductive organs. It’s the generative place. Where may we find this generative place? Who’s sitting in Scorpio? Saturn. Saturn is bones. Generative places in the bones. That would be bone marrow. What kind of sign is Scorpio? A fecund-fertile-prolific sign. Lots of something in the bone marrow is being generated like too many red blood cells or white blood cells. Mars does rule the blood, right?
Altman died of leukemia.
If you followed the rules of astrology —like you’re supposed to do— and you did your station-checking —like you’re supposed to— you’d know that on Day+7 Saturn is stationary-retrograde. That delayed the onset of leukemia to late in life (Mars is in a setting phase). He was diagnosed around age 79 and died at 81 years.
But not for that, Altman would have contracted leukemia earlier in his life.
Placidus has Moon in the wrong house. Moon is in the 8th House now and forever. Everyone get over it already.
Moon is in “detriment!” The sky is falling! Run for the hills! Sorry, no such thing as “fall” or “detriment.” Gotta stop running around in your Marshall Applewhite Nike Decade shoes drinking the Reverend Jim Jones’ Kool-Aid® listening to David Koresh and waiting for the aliens to come.
As soon as you do, your astrology will improve 100%. Moon loves being in Capricorn and what is the 8th House? Legacies. What are legacies? Things like royalties on patents, copyrights, or motion picture or television series residuals. Some of Altman’s most successful films were M*A*S*H, McCabe & Mrs. Miller, The Long Goodbye and Nashville and he got lots of royalties on ticket sales, VHS video rentals, DVD rentals, DVD purchases, streaming from various sources, etc etc etc.
If Moon had been in Cancer, he wouldn’t have gotten any royalties.

Once again, house systems lead to wrong interpretations. Sorry, Saturn ruler of the 8th House in the 11th House is the wrong answer.
Mars right square Moon right square Saturn opposition Mars is a bad death or a violent death (and sometimes both). Flip the script to what we see in the whole sign chart and we have Saturn right square Moon right square Mars opposition Saturn and that is an execution.
Don’t be obtuse. There’s no place in astrology for obtuse people. The State is not the only entity on Earth that executes people. For a long time, the Imperial Roman Catholic Church executed people before someone put them in their place. People, criminals, gangs, organized crime syndicates, terror squads, death squads, terrorists and militaries also execute people.
Some whacked out thugs forced their way into Sharon Tate’s home, lined them up, then stabbed them one-by-one and then hung them. Except for Abigail Folger. She ran away, but they chased her down and stabbed her to death. Those would be the 12th House enemies.
Who rules the Scorpio 5th House? Mars is the domicile ruler in the 6th House but Jupiter is the domicile lord since water trigon ruler Jupiter aspects the 5th House from the 1st House which is superior to water trigon ruler Moon in the 3rd House. Jupiter is retrograde. That doesn’t bode well for children.
Koch houses puts Moon in the 2nd House which we know to be wrong since the 3rd and 9th House indicate a person’s condition before death. In a woman’s chart, Moon in the 3rd House often indicates pregnancy at the time of death and Sharon Tate was.
Marine Le Pen

Other house systems all place Jupiter in the 11th House which we know to be wrong since Marine Le Pen was arrested and convicted of embezzlement, sentenced to 4 years in prison; 2 years suspended; and 2 years under house arrest. We venture to guess it works in France the same way it works in America. If you’re rich, White and more equal than everyone else you get treated with kid-gloves. The pigs are walking.
All house systems put Moon in the 3rd House which we know to be wrong. Moon opposition Mars is constant danger. Don’t be obtuse. There’s no place in astrology for obtuse people. It doesn’t mean that someone is in constant danger every second or every minute or every day. Moon and Mars are in mutual reception by house-exaltation so she puts herself in constant danger voluntarily but that happens when you embezzle money. The actual aspect configuration is Moon right square Saturn right square Mars opposition Moon which is self-destructive behavior.
We’re glad that didn’t happen. Oh, wait…it did happen.
Don’t be like the Loser Gian Paulo DiCocco and violate the rules of astrology by failing or refusing to do station-checking, so let’s do that:
You can plainly see that on Day+2 which is 2 days after she was born or August 7th, Saturn turns retrograde. Sucks to be Le Pen.
Remember, this is a natal chart. There’s no such thing as “combust.” That is strictly an horary concept. That being said, Venus and Mars are under Sun’s beams. Under Sun’s beams is a not a sign-based condition. The simple question to be answered is, “Is Mars within 15° of Sun, yes or no? Yes. See how easy that was? It ain’t String Theory. Venus controls the 1st House and 8th House; Mars controls the 2nd House and 7th House; and that’s your embezzlement plain as day. Well, most of it. There’s a couple of other things going on. No, Mercury is not under Sun’s beams since Mercury applies to Sun within 3° so Sun and Mercury are bodily joined, engaged, adhered or whatever you want to call it.

The true chart is the whole sign chart. All other charts lead to misinterpretations about his life, marriage, career, income and death.
The Mercury-Jupiter/Saturn opposition does not fall on the 1st-7th House Axis. That is wrong. It is on his 2nd House because that is his income, and his legacies, with legacies being royalties received from sales/rentals of albums and movies. Even in death, his estate gets those royalties.
The whole sign chart is the only chart that shows his violent death and his propensity of violence toward his romantic partners. Venus in the 5th House and ruling the 7th House leads people to erroneously conclude his marriages were hunky-dory. He was a dope-fiend who verbally and physically abused his first wife Cynthia which is why she divorced him. He verbally abused Yoko. He abandoned Yoko and ran around for 2 years with his mistress May Pang which is probably the only reason he wasn’t beating Yoko since he wasn’t with Yoko.
It’s quite the irony to preach love and peace whilst simultaneously abusing women. Go figure. Then again, you can tell from his chart he wasn’t a very nice guy.

Jupiter, ruler of the 10th House in the 11th House? Nope. Wrong answer
Jupiter, ruler of the 10th House is in the 12th House which tells you at some future date, she’s going to jump or get thrown off of a 110-story building and then get run over by a bus.
Why? How? Who aspects Jupiter? Saturn right square Jupiter in this chart means Kamala will get fired/demoted or lose her position or her power or her status.
And that’s what happened.
We’ve proven beyond any reasonable doubt that house systems are a fail and the only way to accurately interpret a chart is by using whole sign houses.
Let’s move on.
No Such Thing as Essential Dignities
Let’s put it all together see how the Arabic and Persian astrologers made a FUBAR mess of astrology.
The Arabic and Persian astrologers understand that Sun doesn’t always rule Leo and Mars doesn’t always rule Aries or Scorpio, Moon doesn’t always rule Cancer and so on. They just couldn’t wrap their brains around how the Greeks did it.
As a reminder, the hierarchical drill-down is:
- House ruler
- Exaltation ruler
- Trigon ruler
- Triplicity ruler
The Arabic and Persian astrologers are drunk on the non-astrologer Ptotle (Ptolemy-Aristotle). Masha-Allah was a particularly troubled Jewish convert to Islam who thought Ptotle was one of the Egyptian pharaohs named Ptolemy during the Ptolemaic Dynastic Period. His dimwitted disciple Abu-Ma’shar and other Arabic and Persian astrologers actually referred to Ptotle as “the Divine.” The divine what? Liar? Cheat? Fraud? Fabricator of his own data? Fabricator of other people’s data? Plagiarizer?
Technically, we’re wrong to refer to Ptolemy as the non-astrologer. Ptolemy was the un-astrologer.
Ptolemy either did not understand what trigons and trigon rulers were, or he categorically dismissed them since “his is the superior intellect,” or he conflated trigon rulers with triplicity rulers. We tend to think the latter. Because of that, the Arabic and Persian astrologers did not know what trigon rulers were and their inability to translate the texts accurately impeded their understanding, so in their minds the drill-down scheme was:
- House ruler
- Exaltation ruler
- Triplicity ruler
This error is compounded further because of their inability to accurately translate the texts. They don’t see it as being an hierarchy. Instead they see it as “choose the best candidate from among these 3 options.“
At this point, we don’t have a problem “squared.’ We have a problem “cubed” because the Arabs and Persians did not understand that we don’t use house systems to interpret charts, but the Arabs and Persians are using house systems. Again, because they couldn’t accurately translate the texts, they don’t understand the Greeks are looking at the houses, not the house cusps.
Except the house cusps are exactly what the Arabic and Persian astrologers were looking at in the chart. So, how do you determine which of these three candidates —
- House ruler
- Exaltation ruler
- Triplicity ruler
— rules the house cusp?
The Arabic and Persian astrologers came up with a point scoring system:
- House +3
- Exaltation +2
- Triplicity +1
Thus “essential dignities” are born, but the problems do not end there.

Astrology is the original WYSIWYG: “What You See Is What You Get.”
If it is in the chart, it is guaranteed to happen and there’s nothing you can do about it. We know some people just can’t accept Determinism. Well, they got pills for that. Our challenge still stands: Show us a chart for any person whose life did not work out exactly as the chart said it would. And, why, yes, we’ll apply the rules of astrology to correct your many errors in chart interpretation.
Obviously, the Koch House System didn’t exist when the Arabs and Persians were doing their thing, .We included it only so you can see what a massive fail house systems are.
The charts the Arabs and Persians are casting using house systems do not reflect what is actually happening or already happened to a person.
In the true chart of Donald Trump —the whole sign chart— you see Venus as domicile ruler of the Libra 3rd House in the Cancer 12th House. In the other charts, Venus is in the 11th House and that is just plain wrong.
What is the principle of ruler of the 3rd House in the 12th House? In this instance, Cancer and Libra are tropical signs so one or more of Trump’s siblings will predecease him.
True or false: One or more of Trump’s siblings have died? True. All of his siblings are now dead.

Another interpretive principle of ruler of the 3rd House in the 12th House in Trump’s chart —because Venus is the domicile master of the Pisces 8th House— is one of Trump’s relatives will sue him.
True or false: One of Trump’s relatives filed a lawsuit against him? True. Trump’s niece filed a lawsuit against Trump and his siblings alleging they defrauded her out of her father’s estate (her father was Fred Trump, Jr.).

Remember, we never use horary house meanings in natal charts. The 8th House is legal matters and lawsuits in a natal chart, not the 7th House. The 7th House is only lawsuits and legal matters when casting an inception chart, an election chart or an horary chart.
And we know the 8th House is lawsuits and legal matters since it is also true in Jyotisha. Why?
Because there’s no such thing as “Hindu” astrology. There’s no such thing as “Vedic” astrology. We’re from Missouri. You’ll have to show us book, chapter and verse in the Rig Vedas, Vedic hymns and other works and it is no surprise to us that no one has ever been able to do that since it isn’t possible.
Jyotisha comes from the Yavanajataka, a Sanskrit text written in the 200’s of the Common Era. Did we mention the Sanskrit to English translation of Yavanajataka is “Greek astrology?” Jyotisha is just Hellenistic astrology that evolved differently thanks to the Parthians who annihilated the Seleucid Empire and started stamping out Greek culture. That, and the many subsequent conflicts in the region reduced the transmission of knowledge and information between the Greeks in Greece, Egypt, Canaan and Mesopotamia and the Greeks living in modern-day Iran, Afghanistan, Pakistan and northern India to practically nothing.
Let’s address the Saturn right square Jupiter figure. Don’t forget, Mercury, Venus and Saturn are co-present in the Cancer 12th House so they function as a team, especially Venus and Saturn since they’re in concourse. We have four possible interpretations of Saturn right square Jupiter:
- Failure(s)
- Being fired/demoted or losing one’s position, status or power
- Losing income, property, assets or investments
- Disturbing event(s)
Without elaboration, the 3rd and 12th plus Cancer and Libra eliminate the disturbing event leaving us with:
- Failure(s)
- Being fired/demoted or losing one’s position, status or power
- Losing income, property, assets or investments
What do Jupiter and Saturn have to do with the Taurus 10th House and Trump’s career? Absolutely nothing leaving us with this:
- Failure(s)
- Losing income, property, assets or investments
While “failure(s)” is certainly tempting, read the chart. Venus is domicile master of the Pisces 8th House which is legal matters and lawsuits because we never use horary house meanings in natal charts. Venus is in concourse with Saturn and co-present with Mercury. Mercury is domicile ruler and domicile master of the Virgo 2nd House which is Trump’s income, real estate, assets, investments and business partners because we never use horary house meanings in natal charts. Venus is the domicile ruler of the Libra 3rd House. Saturn is the domicile master of the Libra 3rd House. The 3rd House is the 2nd House relative to the income, real estate and assets of Trump’s business partners.
True or False: Trump had to file business bankruptcies to protect his income, real estate and assets, and the income, real estate, and assets of his business partners? True. Trump filed a business bankruptcy on six different occasions. And also, according to media reports, he had to sell failing businesses to avoid filing for bankruptcy at least 6 times.

Let’s address the Venus right square Jupiter figure. That indicates adultery, an illicit sexual affair (think “prostitutes”), and/or sordid steamy romances (usually with low-rent people or ne’er-do-wells or people embroiled in scandals).
Just stop it already. Don’t knee-jerk. Don’t be obtuse. There’s no place in astrology for obtuse people. According to the U.S. Supreme Court, a single person having a romantic affair with a married person is adultery. We agree, because, well, that’s what it is. Did you ever stop to consider the possibility that a single person could have an adulterous affair, and later, long after that affair ended, they marry and never commit adultery?
No? Well, now you have something new to think about. It doesn’t automatically mean adultery. It could mean illicit sex affairs which could be anything from frequenting prostitutes to pedophilia, paraphilia, various sex crimes ranging from gross sexual imposition (weenie-waggers) to sexual assault up to and including rape. It could be just sordid romances like the doctor having sex with his trailer-park-trash office receptionist (whom he’ll dump and marry a trophy wife).
True or False: Trump committed adultery? True.

With Venus in the 11th House in the charts with house systems, what penalty does Trump suffer for his adultery? None. But with whole sign it tells you Trump is penalized. Also, Moon is in the 5th House, not the 4th House as shown in the charts using house systems. Trump committed adultery with Windy Wendy or whatever her name was and Trump’s soon-to-be ex-wife filed for divorce and took the kid and move away to the opposite side of the United States to get as far away from Trump as she possibly could. If she could have moved to France she probably would have (a court order likely prevent his ex-wife from leaving the U.S. with the child).
True or False: Stormy Windy or whatever he name was sued Trump? True.

True or False: On Election Day, November 5, 2024, Trump was a criminal defendant in a lawsuit filed by the State of New York alleging he paid hush-money to Stormy Winds to get her to dismiss her lawsuits against Trump? True.

Now you have seen first hand what the Arabic and Persian astrologers were facing. The charts did not reflect what was happening in a person’s life. Instead of using whole sign houses to see if it would fix the problem, they made it worse by adding bound rulers and decan/face rulers into the mix to give us this:

And still, the charts did not reflect what was happening in a person’s life and so we got this for the houses:
- 1st House +12
- 2nd House +4
- 3rd House +5

And when that didn’t work, they changed the rank order of houses in a pathetic attempt to crow-bar the chart into saying what it would have said if only they had been using whole sign houses from the start (changes in red):

It’s astrology, not accounting. We don’t get out our abacuses and start tallying up points like a bean counter. In astrology, there is no such thing as “strong” or “weak” anything. All stars, all signs and all houses are equal strength and there’s nothing that changes that.
